Manoir Oak Collection

The Manoir Oak Collection is antique oak flooring, engineered and reclaimed from 200-year-old Mediterranean and Aegean structures. Two centuries of weathering have given the timber real depth of character, yet the surface reads as calm and uniform. The collection takes a wide range of shapes, patinas and colour treatments, making it a favoured choice for designers and architects.

About Manoir Oak

A pursuit of true timelessness runs through the Manoir Oak Collection. Sourced from 200-year-old structures, stables, cottages and storehouses that once stood across the Mediterranean and Aegean landscapes, these boards carry the quiet richness of places steeped in story. Their tones hold the warmth of sun-aged timber, and their grain reveals centuries of gentle wear, giving the material a rare depth and character that cannot be replicated. The antique oak is rebuilt on a stable, engineered base of European birch ply bonded with WBP waterproof glue, preserving the original surface.

Character With a Settled Surface

Manoir Oak carries two centuries of weathering, and it shows. Fine cracks, softened arrises, and a grain that has taken on the density only long-standing timber develops. What is unusual for an oak of this age is how the surface reads. Colour sits within a narrow, warm band. Board-to-board variation is present but never restless. The overall plane feels settled rather than busy, which is why it is favoured for high-end projects where the floor must hold its character without pulling focus from the rest of the room. The collection is also unusually flexible in how it can be finished. The base timber accepts a wide range of patinas, colour treatments and surface work, from smooth-finish antique oak hardwood flooring with a barely-there lustre through to deeper, more shadowed tones drawn from the wood itself. Format options are broad too, running from wide planks through to herringbone, chevron and Versailles patterns. A single collection can anchor projects of very different registers. A pared-back gallery interior, a warm private residence, a hotel lobby that needs a floor with presence but not noise. Under changing daylight, Manoir Oak shifts gently between honeyed and cooler amber tones, holding its warmth into the evening. It sits comfortably alongside plaster, stone, brass and linen, and reads as period or contemporary depending on what is placed on it. As antique engineered oak flooring, it offers the surface of a two-hundred-year-old floor with the stability of modern construction.
