The Submerged Wood Collection

The Submerged Wood Collection brings together rare timbers recovered from submerged forests around the world in partnership with Triton. Preserved underwater for decades, sometimes centuries, each species carries a depth of character that cannot be replicated. Recovered using patented underwater technology without felling living trees, the collection combines extraordinary provenance with consistent supply for flooring, furniture, joinery and bespoke architectural applications.

Reclaimed timber, shaped by its past

Recovered from submerged forests, Re:discovered timber carries grain, markings and irregularities shaped by decades — sometimes centuries — underwater. Rather than removing them, we work with these characteristics, allowing the material’s history to remain visible in every application.

One forest, many possibilities

Submerged Wood is a material without a prescribed outcome. It can become floors, walls and ceilings, staircases and joinery, cladding, decking, yachts and furniture, made with a network of specialist UK makers from 2027. We can also supply boards and sections directly to architects, designers and makers, leaving what it becomes entirely open.
