Re:discovered Sunken Timber

Re:discovered is a collection of rare timber recovered from submerged forests around the world, in partnership with Triton. Preserved underwater for decades, sometimes centuries, each piece carries a character that simply cannot be replicated. Recovered using patented underwater technology without felling living trees, it brings extraordinary provenance and a remarkably consistent supply to flooring, furniture and bespoke joinery.

Reclaimed timber, shaped by its past

Recovered from submerged forests, Re:discovered timber carries grain, markings and irregularities shaped by decades — sometimes centuries — underwater. Rather than removing them, we work with these characteristics, allowing the material’s history to remain visible in every application.

Furniture Design

From flooring to furniture, joinery and beyond

Re:discovered is a material without a prescribed outcome. It can become bespoke flooring, furniture and architectural joinery, handcrafted in our Cheshire workshop or co-created around the needs of a project. We can also supply the timber directly to architects, designers and makers, leaving what it becomes entirely open.
