Each board is placed into a custom-built tumbling drum filled with natural abrasives, where it moves freely — softening, settling and taking on those subtle signs of gentle wear. Edges round themselves, light scuffs emerge, and the grain relaxes into a state that feels instinctively calm. The result isn’t theatrical or over-worked; it’s the kind of patina you’d expect from decades of use, shaped slowly rather than forced.
