  • Description

Antique European Oak Chevron Parquet pairs the precision of chevron geometry with the expressive depth of oak sourced mainly from French agricultural and rural buildings, as well as select European regions. Reclaimed from beams circa 200 years old, the timber retains its natural patina, softened grain contours and traces of its long architectural life. Arranged in a chevron pattern, these age-worn details gain a refined rhythm that bridges heritage and contemporary design.

  • Custom Made Samples

Compare construction, tone, patina and texture. Feeling the wood in your hand reveals the true character and quality of each surface. Our bespoke samples are made to order, with sizes varying around 25 × 30 cm. Please allow 3–8 working days for preparation.

18th & 19th Century Antique European Oak Collection
Our 18th- and 19th-century antique European Oak is crafted from genuine historic timber reclaimed from barns, mills, and architectural structures across France and wider Europe. Many boards are circa 200 years old, some reaching back three centuries. Their surfaces carry medieval patinas, softened contours, irregular widths and the unmistakable depth of timber shaped by centuries of use. Each piece brings an authentic sense of provenance — warm, storied and architecturally rich — ideal for both period restoration and contemporary interiors seeking true historical character.
