Mist belongs to the Provenance Collection and takes its cue from timbers long exposed to sea air and salt. Rather than imitating age, the colour reflects it — calm, natural browns formed slowly through exposure and use. The result is an understated palette with quiet authority, suited to spaces that value warmth, restraint, and authenticity.

Finished in Cheshire
Each board is hand-finished in Cheshire, where hard-wax oiling remains central to the Provenance method. Applied slowly and with intention, the oil penetrates the surface at varying depths, creating natural shifts in tone rather than a uniform coating. This subtle irregularity brings forward the character of the oak while keeping the finish clean, honest and grounded.
