After eleven months of searching and more than fifty samples from various suppliers, our client finally found the floor he was chasing. Gord even took a train from London to our Cheshire workshop to inspect the timber in person. The first option was wrong, so we recalibrated and supplied a more precise match: our reclaimed engineered Estate Oak. Each piece is hand-crafted up to 400 years in age to preserve its original patina. The floor anchors this minimalist home with warm mid-brown tones and a quiet, historic depth. Varying light levels across the rooms draw out subtle shifts in the grain, allowing an authentic, time-earned surface to coexist naturally with the home's contemporary, industrial sensibility.
