North London
An imposing 19th-century villa overlooking Highgate, once stripped of its spirit through subdivision and neglect, has been thoughtfully reimagined into a home of warmth and quiet character. Working alongside Tom Rutt Studio and client Vanina Kovarski, the project restores a sense of presence and ease within the grand architectural envelope — from reconfigured staircases to art-led interiors that soften the formality of the original structure.

Manoir Oak Chevron
To anchor the interiors, our Reclaimed Manoir Oak in solid overlays was laid in a chevron parquet, introducing rhythm and gentle movement across the principal spaces. Finished on site to achieve a natural, cohesive tone, the floor reveals rich grain, time-worn patina and subtle tonal variation — restoring depth and authenticity to the villa, and allowing its classical proportions to feel both lived-in and enduring.
