London, England
Another transformation in the heart of West London features our Antique Manoir Oak parquet, reclaimed from beams over 200 years old — salvaged from stables, cottages and storehouses across the Mediterranean. Each piece is kiln-dried, cut, sanded and hand-graded to preserve its historic grain and character. Studio Tashima has woven this material into a contemporary scheme with precision. A large mirror, placed at the apex of the triangular plan, amplifies the sense of space and captures shifting reflections of the herringbone pattern as one moves through the kitchen, hall and living room — turning the floor into a living register of both history and design intent.
